The line aims in the medium term to maximise investment efficiency understood as the ratio between return and volatility of the portfolio.

In the Best Efficiency line, an in-depth study is carried out to choose instruments on the basis of their return, volatility, "max drawdown" and "recovery period" data over different time horizons.
Following the indications of a proprietary algorithm, rankings are drawn up according to market categories.

To achieve the objective of the line, the instruments with the best positioning over the different time horizons are weighted in the portfolio by adjusting their respective percentages according to market conditions.
The instruments in the line and their weights are reviewed quarterly in accordance with the Investment Committee's recommendations.

The line may also make use of capital-guaranteed certificates or other predetermined-yield instruments in order to contain volatility and/or optimise performance.
