Strategy Description: AlphaSTAR - Equity Hedge Fund is an Equity Long/Short sub-fund of GLOBAL AIFM Platform Sicav-Sif, based in Luxembourg and regulated by the CSSF. The Fund’s objective is to provide absolute return. The bias is typically net long. While the geographical footprint of the fund is mainly European, its investment universe includes all world equities. A part of the portfolio might also be allocated on bonds (tipically High-yield). In the investment process a bottom-up approach is normally considered essential, especially in areas – like Italy - where the manager believes he has greater local knowledge.
